All because of the tactician van Gaal.....he can read the game well..he knw very wht are the things to apply on the ground ..his player selection is also different than other coaches ...he will not go behind players with star value ..he always add players who is suitable for his tactics...

When you have the number 1 ranked team in the world for many yrs and the golden generation, you don't hire a loser coach like Martinez. You wanna win a trophy, you need someone who has won big silverware and has a championship mentality. Maybe he was ok to try out for 2 yrs but they wasted the good yrs of all these players. They could have even Hired Capello out of retirement w his boring game and he would have at least delivered the nations league trophy if not anything else

In defense of Belgium, de Bruyne probably played more minutes this year than Bergwijn and Memphis combined. I can't help but think it's a factor. Same with Belgium against Hungary.
Buy maybe they were just not all that inspired.

Oh, never mind, just realized Frenkie probably played the same amount of minutes as de Bruyne and he was brilliant.
